Why does the endless blue of the sky
Remind me of shattered minds,
Exploded, scattering their kaleidoscopic thoughts
Rainbow-colored remnants of what once was whole?
I wish I could silence this foolish head,
But I know that in doing so,
I would unravel my soul,
Leaving nothing but a hollowed shell
My body would dissolve,
Drawn upward, consumed,
Sucked into the depths of the mind
Of the Devil’s bride,
Where all lost things go to vanish
