At the heart of all that is,
A unity pulses, unseen and eternal
Step beyond the confines of the mind
Feel the cool earth beneath your bare feet,
The soft caress of the wind,
As shadows dance gracefully
Beneath the golden light of autumn’s sun
Breathe in the daffodils’ sweet perfume,
And the smoky incense spiraling up,
Rising from the sacred halls of heaven
You search for God in the heavens above,
You fear the Devil lurking below,
Yet fail to see
God resides within
Everything you touch, taste, hear, and smell,
Is not just a fragment of his vast kingdom,
But the very essence of his divine being,
Alive in all that surrounds you
