What is the sound of one scream unheard?
Not clapping, not praying—just air vibrating in a vacuum of apathy
If no ear twitches, does it sound like pain or simply … rehearsal?
A scream unheard is not a warning. It’s a weather report

This land was forged not for feet but for machines
Sidewalks are relics; crosswalks are altars
He who walks in America walks through the belly of a mechanical beast
The fatter we become, the less we tread
The fatter we become, the more we’re tread upon

To apply for work is to beg in binary
To hope is to glitch in a burning circuit
Deliver your cookies to the end-times with a smile
The real world happens in driveways & doorsteps
Not on screens or headlines
Every “hello” might be the last lighthouse in a storm

**

What happens when the lights go out?
Perhaps not fire, nor angel choir, nor wheel of karma
Just the soft click of a switch
The end of a sentence, mid-word
If you don’t remember the before
Why trust in the after?
