If you could be a character from a book or film, who would you be? Why?

Tough question! This is especially tough because so many of the books I read and TV shows and movies I watch are drama or even horror or true crime. I certainly wouldn’t want to be many of the characters in those types of books/shows/films because they face such enormous odds and, sometimes, much worse.

If I was forced to pick – and I’m really not – I think I’d naturally lean toward being someone like James Bond. How cool would that be?

007 lives a life of such incredible intrigue and, being that he’s in a Hollywood cinematic universe, he never dies.

All the normal constraints of the world are never put on Bond. He jumps onto running trains, beats up bad guys, always get the girl, and then, just when you think he’s down and out, he survives.

I wish I could come up with a less juvenile answer and something more literary, but the life of a Hollywood action hero sounds good, right?
