Somewhere
a child dreams of a garden untouched by war
where no bombs fall, only petals
Lilies bend toward the light of dawn
a mother whispers I love you into her newborn’s ear
a teacher kindles wonder inside a young mind
a man unclasps his mind from hatred
and the unhoused step through a door into warmth
Somewhere
hope rises, softly
just beyond the edge of sight
past the clamor of cruelty & fear
in the stillness before the sunrise
The earth shivers, not in terror
but in expectation
as a new world prepares to bloom
And in that brief trembling moment
before the vision fades
we glimpse a love older than time
threaded through stars & atoms
an eternal love that binds us all
Then God leans close & whispers in our ear
a voice like wind rustling through leaves
almost too soft to hear:
Goodness always prevails
