Beneath the chapel’s silent dome
They pledged their love in crypt & loam
By candle’s flare & shadow’s breath
They swore to conquer time & death
Cold stone around them, damp with age
A tomb became their bridal stage
Their whispers curled like smoke through bone
A vow etched deep in chiseled stone
But fate, with hands both pale & sly
Tore one away with no goodbye
The other lingered, lips gone blue
A corpse that only longed for two
Years bled through walls of moss & grime
Yet love endured beyond all time
Among the skulls & dust-strewn loam
Their spirits stirred & made a home
Two wisps entwined in endless waltz
Through passageways & iron vaults
Their fingers, once of flesh & flame
Now brushed in bone, yet felt the same
And in that crypt where silence groans
Lie lovers bound by ash & stones
No priest, no bells, no mortal blooms
Just vows renewed in catacombs
